Singer-songwriter Katie May is carving her place in Country music with a feminine, pure voice. Her songs are made for the new era of two-stepping on a lively sawdust dance floor. She blends elements of honky-tonk, classic country twang, rock, swing, Top 40, easy listening, and grunge. Born in Wisconsin, Katie’s musical journey began in church pews. Now rooted in Kansas, she has continued to spread her musical presence in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, and Minnesota, sharing the stage with national acts. Recent singles, “Domino,” “My First Kiss,” and “Toy Horses” showcase her blend of modern country with classic influences.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under.

Tickets can also be purchased with cash or check at ACE in Mitchell or at the ticket booth the night of the event with cash, check, or card!
Doors will open at 6:15 p.m.
Mitchell Opera House is handicap accessible.
Food and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium.
All seating is first come, first served.
