DESCRIPTION:Come see Nostalgia Big Band live at the Mitchell Opera House on May 9th\, 2026 starting at 7p! \nBedford’s own Nostalgia Band is “THE BIG BAND SOUND of\nSOUTHERN INDIANA” The band is made up of local musicians\nfrom many diverse backgrounds – including music educators\,\nbusinessmen\, attorneys\, and medical professionals\, all with a\ncommon love for Big Band music.  Our unique\, harmonious\nsounds of saxophones\, trombones\, trumpets\, rhythm instruments\nand vocals bring to life old favorites made famous by the likes of\nTommy Dorsey\, Glenn Miller\, Benny Goodman\, Duke Ellington\,\nCount Basie\, as well as songs from the 50’s\, 60’s and 70’s.  As you\nlisten to the Nostalgia Band you’ll reminisce about “the good ol’\ndays” savoring classics songs from yesteryear along with recent\nhits from artists including the Brian Setzer Orchestra\, The\nCarpenters\, Chicago\, and Elvis.
