DESCRIPTION:Come see Backwoods Bluegrass Band live at the Mitchell Opera House on December 12th\, 2026 starting at 7p! \nComing from Southern Indiana\, Backwoods is a traditional-style quartet bluegrass band that frequently incorporates 90’s country hits and classic country into their set without straying too far away from the foundation of bluegrass music. With tight three part harmonies\, high energy\, and comradely between the band members\, each show is sure to be a unique and fun night for all! \nThe band has traveled all over Indiana and Kentucky including multiple shows at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari\, to Shipshewana Down Home Bluegrass Festival\, Nappanee Apple Festival\, The Indiana Homesteading Conference\, to Brandenburg Kentucky Homecoming Festival\, and Louisville\, Kentucky for many corporate events. \n  \n“Backwoods truly stretches the genre of bluegrass and brings together many music fans from all around!” \n  \nBand members include Rusty Collier\, Austin Harper\, Hunter Phillips\, and Sarah Stewart. \n  \nTickets are $25 for adults and $13 for kids 12 and under. \nOnline tickets can be purchased on Humanitix with the link below or at the bottom of the page under “Details”. \nPurchase Tickets Here \nTickets can also be purchased with cash or check at ACE in Mitchell or at the ticket booth the night of the event with cash\, check\, or card! \nDoors will open at 6:15 p.m.\nMitchell Opera House is handicap accessible.\nFood and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium.\nAll seating is first come\, first served.\nWe hope to see you there!
