DESCRIPTION:Come see Amarillo – a George Strait Tribute live at the Mitchell Opera House on October 10th\, 2026 starting at 7p! \nThe concept for the show “Amarillo” – A Tribute to the King of Country” began in 2024 as the result of a discussion between two long-time musicians who shared a love of playing country and western swing music that features fiddle\, steel\, guitar\, and honky-tonk piano. And what artist better encompasses ALL of that than George Strait! So\, after seeking out and finding just the right combination of like-minded musicians\, the concept was transformed into a reality. \nRehearsals began in the fall of 2025\, with the debut concert coming together in March of 2026. The band consists of eight very experienced musicians\, along with two equally talented sound and lighting technicians\, all coming together in one show to pay tribute to the King of Country music…Mr. George Strait! \nTickets are $25 for adults and $13 for kids 12 and under. \nOnline tickets can be purchased on Humanitix with the link below or at the bottom of the page under “Details”. \nPurchase Tickets Here \nTickets can also be purchased with cash or check at ACE in Mitchell or at the ticket booth the night of the event with cash\, check\, or card! \nDoors will open at 6:15 p.m.\nMitchell Opera House is handicap accessible.\nFood and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium.\nAll seating is first come\, first served.\nWe hope to see you there!
