Join the historic Mitchell Opera House for the Hoosier Country Night!

This event will be on Saturday, November 18th, at 7 p.m. featuring Hoosier Singers Rachel Holt and Karston Brim!

Rachel is an American Country singer/songwriter and musician. Rachel comes from a small Southeastern Indiana town called Milan. Milan may be small but Rachel‘s voice is anything but that. Rooted in Bluegrass, Rachel follows in the footsteps of her father Tony Holt (Wildwood Valley Boys). Rachel’s mother Jackie Lee Holt, also recorded a country gospel Album in the mid Nineties. Grandfather, Singer/Songwriter Aubrey Holt of the Boys from Indiana, has had songs recorded by such Artists as Alison Krauss, Bobby Osborne, Rhonda Vincent, and the Grascals! Let’s just say music is a family tradition for the Holts.

Karston Brim is 20 years old from Bedford, Indiana in Guthrie.  He works full time for the Lawrence County Fire Territory in Bedford and also has his own business of detailing vehicles, “Fire Detailing”.  He began playing drums at the age of 5 and playing the guitar and singing, at the age of 11, leading Worship at Church.  He is part of Brim Ministries Simple Church with his parents, sharing gospel music at Churches and events.  He won the Bedford North Lawrence High School Talentpalooza in 2021, and also the Mitchell Indiana Persimmon Idol in 2021.  He provides music at Festivals, weddings, Church, and other activities & events. He enjoys singing country music, from Artists such as Luke Combs, Conway Twitty, and many others and has written a few songs, as well.

Doors will open at 6:15 p.m.

Mitchell Opera House is handicap accessible.

Food and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium.

All seating is first come, first served.
